Our Mission
ENYWARE is a 501(c)3 that exists to provide ethical wildlife rehabilitation, science-based education, and meaningful opportunities for people to reconnect with the natural world. Our work is grounded in biology, conservation ethics, and respect for the ecosystems of Eastern New York.
We believe:
• Wildlife deserves proper medical care, nutrition, and safe release
• Education creates better stewards and safer human-wildlife interactions
• Landowners can make simple, meaningful habitat changes
• Conservation starts at home
Wildlife is not separate from our lives, it lives alongside us, often unseen, always essential.
We believe stewardship begins with understanding, and responsibility follows naturally from care.
WHAT WE DO
Wildlife Rehabilitation
We provide care for injured, orphaned, and displaced wildlife with the goal of safe return to the wild whenever possible.
Our rehabilitation work follows state and federal guidelines and prioritizes animal welfare, minimal human imprinting, and ecological integrity.
Education & Exploration
From public talks to hands-on learning experiences, we help people understand the wildlife that shares their neighborhoods, forests, and fields.
Education is not just information, it is relationship-building between people and place.
Habitat Stewardship
Healthy wildlife depends on healthy land.
We advocate for land-smart decision-making, habitat protection, and coexistence practices that benefit both people and wildlife.
The Wild Deal Partnership
ENYWARE powers the wildlife education mission behind The Wild Deal.
Through The Wild Deal, we share:
• Species spotlights
• Rehab stories
• Nature education
• Land stewardship tips
• Conservation-focused real estate insights
This unified approach blends science, storytelling, and real-world guidance to help people understand and care for the world around them.
